Dev Samaj School's NSS contingent bags prize

  Chandigarh:   The NSS unit of I. S. Dev Samaj S enio r Secondary School, Sector 21 -C, Chandigarh has bagged the third prize in the category of 'Best Contingent NSS Boys/ NSS Girls School Children' in the Republic Day Parade 2023, organised by Chandigarh Administration.  The Principal, Mrs. Sabeeha Dhillon Mangat congratulated the students for this achievement and their commendable performance. Meanwhile, the school enthusiastically celebrated  India ’s 74th Republic Day on the school premises. The Republic Day celebration was initiated with the National Song ‘Vande Matram’, which was followed by a Flag Hoisting ceremony and the National Anthem. Abhilasha and Aaina win the drawing competition

Chandigarh : The ‘Har Ghar Trianga’ campaign of the State Bank of India (SBI) started here today with a Cyclothon and Inter School Drawing Competition with the message to host the National Flag at every house. The winners of the drawing competition were - Abhilasha (junior group), and Aaina (senior group), both from Ankur Public School .  The Inaugural lamp lighting was done by Vinod Jaiswal, Chief General Manager (CGM), State Bank of India , Chandigarh Circle . More than 200 students from different schools in Chandigarh participated in the event. Art Exhibition showcasing paintings by children concludes

Chandigarh :  A two-days art exhibition ‘Meri Pehchaan’ organized by Chhaya School of Art (CSA) concluded at  Government   Art   Gallery , Sector 10 here today. More than 300 paintings made by 100 students from the different schools of Tricity, who received training at Chhaya School of Art had displayed their art. On this occasion, Ravneet Singh Khurana, an IRS officer, and special secretary to the government of  Punjab  graced the event as Chief Guest.
