Chandigarh: MRA Senior Secondary Model School, Sector 27, Chandigarh celebrated the International Day of Girl Child in the school premises under 'Girl’s India Project' in collaboration with CCPCR and Yuvsatta NGO with great enthusiasm. An informative programme was planned by the MRAite teachers and students with Buddy School ( Government Model Senior Secondary School , Sector 23 (NYC) Chandigarh ). As a ritual, the programme started with a melodious song highlighting the importance of a girl child. A short documentary on girl child’s empowerment was shown to the girls. All the girls wore badges quoting PROUD TO BE A GIRL. Not only this, girls expressed their emotions with the help of various posters, speeches and recital of poems.
