NSDC, Masai announce strategic partnership focused on outcome-driven skilling for tech jobs

  Chandigarh:  National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Masai School today announced a strategic partnership to skill India’s youth for tech jobs through an outcome-driven skilling model. The partnership agreement was signed by Ved Mani Tiwari, Chief Operating Officer and Officiating CEO, NSDC and Prateek Shukla, Co-Founder & CEO, Masai School today. Giving impetus to the Skill India Mission, the collaboration will benefit the lives of over 1.5 lakh students and their families in tier 2 & 3 cities over a period of seven years. This will enable aspirants to go beyond their economic & educational background by creating a level-playing field for private-sector tech jobs through skill-based learning certified by NSDC. Chandigarh : Silver Fern Education Consultants, an overseas education consultancy has come up with an initiative ECONATION, in association with St. John’s High School , Chandigarh . Under this, a waste paper recycling machine has been installed inside the premises of St. John’s High School .    "We have joined hands with the school to provide the students with a platform to create something new, which is useful and even profitable. The waste paper recycling machine installed in the school will be used to convert leftover sheets into fresh paper. Petroleum Conservation Research Association organizes Cyclothon in Patiala

  Patiala:  Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) organized CYCLOTHON in Patiala  to commemorate 75 years of progressive Independent India being celebrated as ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ across the country. The Cycle rally was flagged off early in the morning from Multani Mal Modi College located in the heart of the city by Chander Gaind, IAS, Divisional Commissioner, Patiala, in the presence of Sanjeev Kumar Verma, Additional Director-PCRA Chandigarh; Sanjeev Sharma (Bittu), Mayor Patiala; Ajay Pal Singh, DSP Investigation, Patiala; Dr Kulvinder Kumar, Principal of the College and other dignitaries. Before the flag-off ceremonial bunch of colourful balloons were released in the air by the dignitaries. The cyclists went through important landmarks of Patiala viz.
