  Shimla:   Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for admission in various Master Degree/Bachelor Degree/ Diploma/PG Diploma and Certificate programmes for the academic session July, 2021.  In addition to this, the last date for re-registration for next year/ semester for the students who have already registered in Bachelor/Master Degree programmes has also been extended. Admission process will be ONLINE for which the link is available on IGNOU Website: www.ignou.ac.in Students may now apply for fresh admission and re-registration upto 31 August, 2021. Chandigarh : Scores of class 12th and 10th topper students in Chandigarh tricity and thousands others in the country are reeling under despair as their names did not get any mention in the media reports. Though CBSE did not make a merit list for the 12th and 10th boards this year, a list was 'declared' by the newspapers on the basis of a compilation done by the reporters on the basis of results made available to them by different schools. The parents of such left out students have demanded the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to release a "Merit List of Class XII and X results" to remove the confusion amongst the media and public in general. It is alleged that the media collected data from various schools barring a few who followed the directions of CBSE, of 'no merit list'.
